We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Managers to join our New Zealand team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver complex construction projects while driving collaboration, innovation, and safety.

As a Project Manager at Conowise, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across infrastructure, civil, and commercial construction sectors.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee contract administration, procurement, and financial performance.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Drive collaboration between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Monitor progress, budgets, and quality assurance through structured reporting.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years in project management within construction, civil, or infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field.
  • Formal credentials or certifications in project management (preferable) such as PMP, PRINCE2.
  • Strong understanding of contract frameworks and models (NZS 3910 or similar).
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing project risks.
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand H&S regulations in construction.
