Waipipi Wind Farm

The Waipipi Wind Farm is a 133 MW renewable energy project located near Waverley, South Taranaki. Comprising 31 wind turbines, the farm generates enough electricity to power approximately 65,000 homes annually, contributing to New Zealand’s transition to sustainable energy. The project enhances the country’s renewable energy capacity while reducing carbon emissions. Construction involved large-scale civil and electrical works, including turbine foundations, internal roading, and grid connection infrastructure.

Project Involvement

• Commercial and Contractual Oversight – Provided contract management support, procurement administration, and cost control to ensure budget adherence and contractual compliance.

• Logistics and Heavy Haulage Coordination – Facilitated the transport and assembly of wind turbine components, ensuring compliance with load restrictions and site accessibility constraints.

• Foundation and Earthworks Engineering – Provided technical support for ground preparation, piling, and reinforced concrete foundations to accommodate large-scale wind turbines.

• Environmental Impact Mitigation – Supported the implementation of erosion control, sediment management, and ecological protection measures to align with sustainability requirements.
